    Hi,
    
       A customer have a DEC2000/300 running OVMS V6.2 and a Apple Macintos
    on the network. They have bough a Apple Laserwriter 16/600 printer. They
    have configured the printer connected to the Apple Macintos. The
    printer is working well with Macintos. Now, they want to print from
    DEC2000. If anyone can help to answer:-
    
    	- If Apple Laserwriter 16/600 work with OVMS V6.2 and DEC2000 using 
    direct parallel cable ?
    	- Can they print to the printer connected to Apple Macintos over
    network ?

see  PATHWORKS for Macintosh   JAMIN::VMS-FOR-MAC      

The Pathworks product can definitely print to a printer on a Mac
using the network.  It also lets a VMS system be a file and print
server for the Macs.

       I got a reply :"Remote node is unknown" when I tried to open
    JAMIN::VMS-FOT-MAC conference
    
       Maybe, it has been moved to other node ?

    The above contains a typographical error.  Should be "for" and not
    "fot."
    
    Since you got a "Remote node is unknown" you probably have a different
    problem.  HGOM30's decnet database has not been updated since 18
    October 1996.  Please ask your system manager to update the database.
    
    Until then, try 4446::VMS-FOR-MAC.

    We used to build the 16/600 here in kanata for Apple. Yes, it plugs
    into the parallel port and should therefore work quite well.
