    Is the maximum savailable RAM in the DEC 2000 300 still 256MB or is

So, basically no-one is going to change any of the data in whichever note has the supported options lists. I don't think any bigger SIMMs will work anyway. Remember that the SROM that configures the memory was born in 1992 when everybody went ooooh-aaaah at the first batch of 16Mb SIMMs we got in the lab. There might not even be enough address lines from the CPU either. Last time I looked a brand new Alphaserver with 256Mb of memory cost less than a 256Mb upgrade for Jensen and went much faster with the same or less memory. Gordon
