Does anybody know of any tools for UNIX to write Amiga-OS format
disks? I use the mtools on HP-workstations to write MSDOS-disks
but would like to use ADOS disks, to spare me the annoying copying...
Thanks
Andy

Re: .0, .1 Once and for all (this should be included in the V2 conference), unless you have a system with a similar versatile mechanism to control a floppy disk drive, you won't be able to write AmigaDOS format. Most systems use _standard_ floppy disk controller chips, which can't write a track with a single sync gap and 11 concatenated "blocks" like the Amiga does it every day. Cheers, <CB> | |||||
