I had a look at all related articles from 3000-5000 but I could'nt see
anything related to my current problem.
Problem: Occasionaly I have access to an RZ23 (100 MEg SCSI drive) that
I can take home. I hook it onto my machne as SCSI assress 0 and I use
HDToolBox to tell it that's it's there and partition the drive. Then I
open a shell and do a DOS format (FFS). What happens it that if I
reboot the drive is no seen. But if I reboot again it is.
I worked it out that every second reboot I cannot see the drive. In
these instances the program SCSIMounter will mount the drive for me but
as you can imagine it is a bit of a pain.
Machine: A3000 - standard 50 Meg quantom. 10 Meg Memory. pretty much
standard machine.
Software:
Kickstart version 37.74. Workbench version 37.33.
Has anyone else had this problem ??? It is'nt a major concern at the
moment as the drive only goes home about twice a month but I getting a
bit worried as I plan to but a second hard drive before the years out.
Shaun.
