| | To the best of my knowledge, there are only 2 terminal emulators for
    the Amiga that provide VT200 emulation.

    1) Handshake (a shareware program).

    2) VT200 also called SMOKEY (this appears to be based on VT100, but was
    modifieded by a DEC engineer to support VT200). This program is for
    Digital internal use only.

    Both programs are in EOT""::AMIGA:[AMIGA.UTILITIES] but the version of
    Handshake seem to be pretty old.

    You have come to the right place. There are several to choose from at
    no cost or a modest shareware donation.

    HANDSHAKE	V2.20c is on Fred Fish disk 449. $35 shareware donation.
    		EOT::AMIGA:[AMIGA.FISH.Z400]FF449.LZH
    VT200	A fairly complete, redistributable VT200 emulator.
    		EOT::AMIGA:[AMIGA.UTILITIES]VT200.ARC
    WHEAT	Mike Liebow's FULL VT220 emulator (**DIGITAL ONLY**)
    		EOT::AMIGA:[AMIGA.UTILITIES]WHEAT.ARC

    Take your choice. You might want to start with WHEAT. It's free and
    claims to support international characters. You'll find each of these
    (and others) have been discussed at length in this notes file.

    You have a couple of options, but I am surprised that your system no
    longer supports VT100 terminals. I have not heard of any VMS version
    that doesn't support them (or layered products either).

    You may want to use Term or Termlite by Olaf 'Olson' Barthel.
    Term can be found on Fish-Disk 534. (see eot::amiga:[amiga.fish.z500])
    It requires KS 37.74 and WB 37.33. It has full VT100/VT200/ANSI
    emulation and some more features. I havn't tested it yet. (maybe this
    night :-)
    Termlite seems to be a smaler version of Term. It is written by Olaf
    Barthel, too.

    Hope this helps,
    michael

    VT100). If you do, let us know please.

This info may be of some value to ATalk users so I thought I'd post it.
There is a very simple way to map the extra keys (on a DEC keyboard, see the
list below) to the function keys of your choice on the Amiga. Simply call
up the ATalk function key requestor from a menu and assign the appropriate
strings from the table below.
        Key          String
        ---          ------
    Do (command)    <esc>[29~
    Remove (Cut)    <esc>[3~
    Insert (Paste)  <esc>[2~
    Find (search)   <esc>[1~
    Previous Screen <esc>[5~
    Next Screen     <esc>[6~
