Is there any support for 2 MB, 3.5" floppy disk for Amiga-1000? How do one format the disk, for example? I did try to add an entry in the MountList file similar to DF2: with high cylinder of 160. System got confused after initializing 40th cylinder. Thanks in advance for your help. - Virendra

Nope, I don't think HD disks use more tracks, they double the density
of data on the same number of tracks.

Applied Engineering has a high density drive out that formats a HD disk
at around 1.5? meg. I looked at it but opted not to buy it because it
did not suport 1.44meg . I talked to the people that did Cross Dos, and
they are looking at two drives right now. I like the Idea of more
storage on floppies but not storing Two sepreate types of disks. It
may be fine for you at home, but what happens if you take a HD disk to
a spot that only has standard Amiga Floppies. CBM should get off their
duff and start putting HD drives in their products.
