A short time ago there was a note posted to somewhere (here I thought)
that described a PD program which caused outstanding Disk I/O to be
flushed upon C-A-A. However I have not been able to locate this
program at all, does anybody happen to recall this one and where I
might be able to find a copy?

There is a PD program which will flush disk buffers when you use
Shift-A-A. I know it is available on my local BBS, I'll try to snag it
for you.
