| I believe one of the stock drivers should work. I have the Star NX1000
balck and white printer. I have used a driver with Deluxe Print that made
multiple passes, so I presume it was trying to do colors. I believe the driver
name had "CBM" in it. I'll check tonight and post the exact name.

| About 2 years ago I was testing out a Star Rainbow printer for a friend,
and I did find a driver for it. I don't remember if I got it from this
network or Compuserve. When I tested it out it did work correctly for
both text and graphics. Now, one the drivers from the 1.3 Extras disk
may work correctly, I don't know, I didn't try any of them. But even
though I don't have a Rainbow, I probably still have that old driver
somewhere. So if you need it I could track it down and upload it to
TAPE. Let me know if you need it. I will be out of town for a week, so
I might not be able to do it for a while.

| I think I was using one of the epson drivers (FX80????) on mine. I certainly
was able to get colour from Deluxe Paint. Its really just a matter
of hunting around, I know one of the standard ones definitely works.
One gotcha, careful with images that have predominately black
backgrounds, they really waste your colour ribbons, and dont use
the colour ones for just b/w text printing, get some black ribbons
for general use.
