    I would be grateful if some one could tell me if comms s/ware for
    prestel/viewdata terminal emulation is available.
    It would be nice if this s/ware gave me CET downloading capabilities.

There is at least one ViewData terminal program available, but it's not PD. 
It's called Ruby View or something similar, and the last time I looked was about
70 quid !
