I currently have a 2090A which has the well known DMA contention bug.
I recall reading somewhere that the 2091 fixes the problem.
Is there anyone out thre who could confirm this?

Re: .0 I have a 2091, and have tested it under heavy DMA contention situations. The 2091 does not have the DMA bug of the 2090 and 2090A. I quite happy with the 2091, and recommend it highly. | |||||

Merci, now I can go to C= and get them to swap it over.

re: .0
C= are SLOWWWW, but they came through. After 2 weeks in the shop, the
2500 came back without the 2090A/rodine 40Meg ST506 and with a 2091 and a
Quantum LP52S 50 Meg SCSI installed at no charge.
The moral of the story is...dont accept a substandard product.
If you are out there and doing Hi-res with overscan, AND you dont think
that you SHOULD have to pull windows down/ click to back to read or
write a file, let Commodore know.
