| | You might check into SuperPlan. This is a spreadsheet program produced
by the same folks that put out SuperBase. You MIGHT be able to
transfer data between them. Since I don't have SuperPlan myself, this
is speculation. If your local software store can't supply the answer
to this, you might try calling the SuperBase technical support line up
    and ask them.

| | I pulled out my manual for VIP Professional last nite. It does graphs
and stuff, but i couldn't import files from Superbase. In fact i couldn't
enter a date directly either. I exported the appropriate fields from
Superbase (Date & MPG) and tried to import into VIP. I defined a1..A1024
to be Format Date, but it doesn't like them. I even tried two files from
Superbase, 1 with the dates and the other with the MPG info - no dice.
Anyone had any success using dates with VIP?

I don't like the way VIP consumes all available memory...

Mark, when you start up VIP Professional, one of the screens that
comes up has a box containing the memory count - which is ALL the
memory that you have available on your system. If you hit a
return, it will consume it all. If however, you click into the
box and edit the number, you can have it consume only what you
want it to consume, freeing up a bunch for multitasking.
