I don't suppose there's any easy way I can attach the Amiga to
a monochrome monitor from a VT220/320, or perhaps a colour one from
the VT series? I've tried a colour job from elsewhere - although
it had RGB sockets on the back, it didn't have one for Synch (someone
advised me that many of these monitors expect the Synch to be present
on the Green line, but I have no idea if this is possible with the
Amiga - I suspect not).
Any advice welcome...

....not sure about the monochrome monitors, but the color monitor
from the VT240 (VR241) works fine. You will need to get a DB23 to
RGB cable (either 3 or 4 BNC connectors) to connect the two together.
See notes 550 and 2105 for more info.
