I,m in the market for one of the byte by byte sculpt products but i'm
a little confused as to the capabilities of each and how they relate
to one another .
Specifically
If I want 3D animation do I need 3D ad well as animate 3D ?
Is animate 3D a superset of 3D ? How does 3Dxl fit into this ?
What does animate 4D do that a combination of 3d's doesn't.
Thanks for any help understanding what I need .

Let's see if I get all this right.
Sculpt 3D - single frame Raytracing program
Sculpt 3D xl - an upgrade to sculpt 3D - still single frame
( mostly speed increase ).
Animate 3D - an add on product, that adds animation to
Sculpt 3D or Sculpt 3D XL.
Scultpt/Animate 4D - contains ray trace program, animation
software, and features not in Sculpt 3D
or Animate 3D. I have a list of new features
at home, I try to enter them soon.
jr. version of each product don't use ray trace technique to
generate the pictures.

Just read a test in a Amiga mag about SA4d JR. Some important functions
were missed. It's NOT WORTH the 300 German bucks (about $ 140 today)
