    Theres a PCPatch zoo file at Norse::, which could be v2 if the date
    is correct. It also should be on a recent Fish disk.
    If all fails, bang on me and I'll upload it to Tape:: or some such.

    PC-Patch II is on Fish #218, available from TAPE::.
    This version doesn't fix the OS bug (see note 2589.11), but the
    program TestRAW available from me (see note 2589.13) will tell you
    if it could work... :-)

| 2742.4 | And now...PCSA!!! | SMAC10::NOBLE | Very pooer. Very pooer indeed. | Wed Aug 01 1990 04:00 | 19 |
| | Can anyone tell me if PCPATCH will allow me to perform the following
    procedure, and if not, how I can go about it?

    I want to:

    Copy ARCed files over the net to the local PCSA Server

    Use PCSA to copy the ARCed files from the VAX to the PC

    Store the ARCed files on 3" DOS floppies

    Use DF0: to read the floppies, (which is where, I would think, PCpatch
    comes in.)

    Is this feasible?

PCPATCH will allow you to copy PC files to Amiga.
Also there is a PD tryable version of CrossDOS around which will do the same
thing.

| 2742.6 | Don't forget MSH | WELSWS::FINNIS |  | Thu Aug 02 1990 17:40 | 10 |
|  |     Hi,
    	Yes CrossDos will let you do it in read only unless you pay for the
    full release.

    	But MSH will let you do it both ways read/write..

    			Beware some files seem to get trashed in transfer

    Now all I have to do is get PCPATCH onto my Amiga in the first
    place...from a PC formatted 3" floppy!

    Cheers,
