I have uploaded SNIPIT V1.2a to
dickns::user:[macdonald.amiga]snipit12a.arc
This version corrects the console close bug, and now works as
advertised.

Think you must mean dickns::user:[macdonald.amiga]snipit.arc.

It was inadvertently named SNIPIT12.ARC.
It is now SNIPIT12A.ARC.

Paul, thanks for the posting.
The arc associated with V1.2a comes with a real short readme
stating that Snipit now works as advertised. Is there
documentation available on-line somewhere that describes how
SNIPIT actually works?
