Now that I'm familiar with this beast, I'd just like to offer my services.


I imagine that the cost of up/down loading at 1200/2400 baud has deterred
some people from posting/recieving some real neat PD stuff here on the net.

Well, I'm fortunate enough to have both an Amiga 500 and a VAXstation II
(MicroVAX II) at home. The VAXstation has a bootleg 1 meg 3�" floppy and
so does the VAXstation in my office (only 2 MicroVAXes in existence with 3�"
drives!).

While these floppies are not format compatible with Amiga, they do provide
a good, easy way of transferring between my office (and DECNET) and the
home system - and then at 9600 baud to/from the Amiga. (If VT200 only ran at
19200 or 38400 !!!!)

So if anyone *really* wants stuff on the net, and it's so large and costly
to DL as to keep them from it, mail me a floppy and I'll be happy to do it.
