| Where is "The Memory Location" ? I called The Software Shop in
Worcester, they were selling 1080's (new) for $325, but no used
ones. I was hoping to pick one up for under $250 ; I thought I
saw New ones for $275 mail-order, so used should be cheaper...
But of all the stores I've called, I have yet to find one selling
used monitors. -Ned

Don Towne owns the place. They deal in Commodore systems and software
(C-64/128, Amiga, and PC-10) *exclusively*. For $20, you can join
their "club" and receive three basic benefits:
- 10% discount on software & accessories
(also extended to Digital employees who aren't members)
- access to their rental library (mostly games) at $3/week
- ability to consign used equipment for sale
(They take a percentage of the sale price.)
Beyond that, they're quite knowledgeable and friendly. The Memory
Location sets its prices a bit below list in most cases; with the 10%
discount, you're not paying a big premium to do business with them.
