| | I'll try to get to it tonight or tomorrow. Check in on

| | THRILLER.ARC is now in my directory. Didn't have time to do the
others. I threw away the original .ARC, so I'll have to re-arc
everything. I hope to finish tonight.

| | I thought Deluxe Music Construction Set could handle SMUS. Is that
    true?

Are the digitized instruments in the IFF instrument format? If
so, they could also be used the DMCS and Instant Music.

| | I've been able to save DMCS file in SMUS format and have SONIX play
them, but I don't remember trying the reverse; it seems like it
    should work.

I distinctly remember not being able to get a SONIX instrument to
work under DMCS. But I didn't try very hard, nor consult the manual.

Is the original intact or does it also fail the CRC check?

| | Yes, I remember the original bitching about failing CRC, but it
    loads and runs just fine.
