For anyone bored with their standard Amiga monitor, there is a mail
order outfit called BTE Computers that is selling Sony monitors
for a pretty good price. They are advertising what appears to be
a KV1311CR, without the TV tuner, (RGB only) for $388.00. They
also have the KV1311CR for $497, and the CPD1201 for $477. The
model 1201 is a higher resolution Trinitron, but with a 12" screen
rather than a 13".
They have an ad on page 145 of the January '87 issue of Computer
Shopper magazine.

| Sounds like a good deal, but the price on the normal 1311 stinks.
I picked mine up for 429 at lechemere a couple weeks ago while it
was on sale. My suggestion? Wait for the next sale.

Wow, prices must have come down some...I paid $500 about 6 months
ago for a 1311. At 429, it is a steal!

| You can say that again, I must have waited 5-6 months before the
1311 went on sale.
