According to a radio tidbit, there is only one (1) NBA team that does
*not* have a losing lifetime record against the Celtics. The Celtics
can make it unanimous tonight with an opening night win against the
mighty Minnesota Slumberloafs, now tied at 3-3 with the Celts.

KJ will only be out 2 weeks (torn abdomen muscle). Negele Knight has
had a great preseason and will be more than adequate with their early
schedule. No need to worry about the Blazer and Jazz games.

| | Mike, what were you doing in Havlicheck's bedroom? 8^)
Classic stuff from Johnny Most. This year has truly been the end of
an era for the Celtics, what with Larry Bird retiring, and now Johnny
Most passing away.
Things change, but it seems lately that too many things are changing too
quickly for this guy.....

| | That voice is one I know my family will not soon forget. We lived
next door to Mr. Most in a condo in Nashua for about a year. Since
we were new to New England at the time, and had no idea he was a
celebrity until a co-worker of mine came over one weekend during the
summer. We were outside and he asked why my neighbor had his radio
turned up so high. And why were the Celtics on? I said, "Oh that's
just my neighbor Mr. Most." He really didn't beleive me until I
introduced Johnny to him. That's when I found out who Mr. Most
	really was.
He really was a genuine friendly person. He promised to take my
wife and I to a Celts game as his guest if we would watch his teenage
daughter while the Celts went on a west coast road trip. As it turned
out, this was the one where he suffered his first heart attack and
we never did make it to the Garden with him, but I certainly never
held it against him. He was forever signing autographs for my son's
	friends.

| | Well, I never had anything good to say about him, and I still don't.
I was happy when he stopped announcing. Never take joy in anyone's
death, so sympathies to his family.
I do thank Bill Long for his story, because the few folks I know
who met Johnny Most painted a much different picture.

IN '79, I wondered how lucky we were, BIRD, we had BIRD.
he and his Indiana St. buddies flying through the tournament
, what a feeling it was to know that he was ours. Here's
hoping we drop off the side of the earth into the lottery
and Chris Webber comes out. I just will not be able to put
up with Knick friends much longer. Course maybe we will
get Drew Bledsoe, and we Bostonians will have something
    	      sports-wise to latch on to.

And I am sure that you behaved differently in 1985-1987, right???
Revenge is sweet.
