    well, me an' me travels have found yet another killer radio station. 
    this one's out of Columbus,OH ... 88.7 WUFM (call themselves Radio-U).
    
    they were originally geared toward the Ohio State crowd, although
    they've gotten a pretty bubble-gummy attitude in the last few months
    (they have a stupid talk-a-lot format in the AM, which really drives me
    crazy).  the DJs are a bit less than theological masters as well, but
    they play *great* music ... Sixpence None the Richer, Sara Mason, Send
    the Beggar, and a bunch of other bands i won't bother to enumerate.
    
    if you're ever in central Ohio, crank it up.  unfortunately, their
    signal fizzles about 35 miles south of the house, so i'm stuck with
    ........

    ... WYSE 88.5/88.1/89.3 FM out of the Toledo area.  they play christian
    pop (not steeking MOR) aimed at teenagers.  they used to play some
    really great music, but they've started into the "beg for money" mode
    and have toned the music down to get adults to listen more (adults have
    money, kids don't).
    
    the 3 frequencies are because they have retransmitters vulching about
    across the n/w part of the state.
    
    not great, but it beats listening to sandi patti remakes.
