A customer has installed the Consolemanager on Unix
When connect to a remote DEC 2000 Model 300, the break key 'CTRL/P'
doesn't work, therefor it's not possible to halt this maschine.
* Is this generally possible to send a break (p.e. CTRL/P) to a
DEC 2000/300 maschine, or is there a problem with the software ?

What operating system is the DEC 2000/300 running? If it's DUnix then
there is a problem. We still don't have remote halt capability in
DUnix. If it's OpenVMS, then have you issued a
>>> set console serial
>>>init
from the console prompt? If so then try the following from the PCM
engine:
$ CONSOLE CONNECT name-of-dec200/BREAK=CTRL_K
Once the connection is made type a CTRL-P and see if the system halts.
If it does then this systems needs a ctrl-p to halt and not a break.
The above command maps the break key to CTRL_K so that when you type a
ctrl-p thats whats actually sent.
