	Hello,

   This is a problem encountered on OpenVMS/Alpha 6.2 with PCM version 1.6-308
or 1.6-310 ( the 308 was installed for correction and I gave him 310 
because of the readme contents which speaks about Controller ACCVIOs ).

When a Reconfigure is issued , the Fourth and last controller process dies
with ACCVIO. The Reconfigure states as correctly completed , but in 90% of 
the cases , this controller process ( number 4 and only him) dies.

It is very disturbing because they are not able to perform a reconfigure
without re-staring PCM.

I have checked the process quotas of the controllers , they are very large.

Is it a known problem ?  Any workaround ?

Following are the two log files (first one was in debug mode I think ).
 Do you need more information ( CONSOLE_CFG.DAT...)

It seems to be resolved now,
we'll include the solution to PCM V1.6-311 (will be ready 15-20 Dec-1996).

You will be able to access the patch at the following location:

   ALEXWS::DISK$PUBLIC:[PCM.V16_311]
