Hi folks,
a customer of mine has problems with Polycenter Console Manager v1.6
running under OSF/1 v3.2g.
The PCM after installation and configuration has worked correctly, but
after a reboot of the system the file /var/opt/console and other files
under /var/opt direcory has been removed and the PCM can't restart.
After a reconfiguration the PCM restart but at next reboot the problem
still happen.
Can anyone help me??
thanks and regards
Guido

Hello, Check what actions are performed by the system during shutdown. Probably (?), it cleans some files in the /var/opt directory. Try to put some files in the /var/opt directory (it is not necessary the to put PCM related files) and reboot the system to see what will happen with these files. Regards, Igor. | |||||
