I am using console manager to monitor an HP 9000/800. The operating system is HP-UX V9.04 The console terminal is an HP 70092 Everything works fine except for two small problems: 1. If the HP 9000/800 is turned off and on again (power cycled), the terminal gets sent a series of messages that are displayed on the 25th (host display) line. On the console screen this messages walk accross the screen and wrap. What can I do to fix this? 2. On login the HP obvoiusly send some series of escape characters (probably to determine the terminal type). Is there some way I can get these to be interpreted properly? David McKenzie

PCM is not a terminal emulator. Since this is U*x can you modify
ttytab and set the terminal type to vt100? This would be the way to
go. It would take a *great deal* of work to make the connect
interface emulate foreign terminals.

Same answer as above.
