Hi Everyone,
I have a customer with the following configuration;
VAXStation 4000 model 96
OpenVMS VAX v6.2
Polycentre Console Manager v1.6-127
My customer has a user that has been setup to be able to access only some of
the systems they have. When the user tries to complete a CONSOLE MONITOR
(SystemName) PCM informs the customer that he has no access to this system with
the message "NO PRIVILEDGE TO ACCESS (SystemName)", but then it gives the user
access to the first system to which he does have access.
Can you comfirm that this is not expected behaviour and advise me on my next
actions to fix the issue. I have also tested this on a system running OpenVMS
VAX 6.2 and PCM v1.6-129 and the same behaviour occurs.
Thanks in advance for your help.

David Bartlett

This is expected behavior. The logic here is that if a user types in a
system name that they don't have access to then we'll create a monitor
session that includes all systems that they do have access to. I think
it's quite handy as if a user can' remember the names of the systems
they have been granted access PCM remembers for them.

Dan
