I am trying to use Polycenter Console Manager T1.6-021
on Digital UNIX V3.2 214 with CDE installed and security
enhanced, when I do a "Connect to console" the windows
appears normally then disappears with a memory fault when
I press return on it to login (I have just the time to
see the 'Username:' prompt), after the console is locked
and the 'Unlock Console' option does not work.
The lat is correctly configured and I have installed
the patches ID OSF320-043, but the problem is still there.
Any idea ?

| Patrick,
this kit was pulled from the network 1/2 hour after it was
put there as we had some problems.
The thing most likely wrong that you are seeing is a permissions
problem with the images.
As root do the following:
1) cd /usr/opt/DCR260/bin/OSF
2) chmod 555 *
3) chmod 4555 console
That sets the file permissions correctly.
See if that fixes the connect problem.

1) cd /usr/opt/DCR160/bin/OSF

I have changed the permissions but the problem is still there.
Is there an other kit after this one ??

If you wait until Monday we will have a newer kit available (the PRE-SSB
kit) we dont see the problem you have with this kit.
