Hi PCM gurus,
I'm using your brand new version PCM 1.6 007 (the one that is allow to
kill ... your production platform ???)
"Connection to Event Notification Seervices LOST" is received if too
many messages have to be handled by PCM.
A way to simulate this is
$ Dir /Size=All BRSADV""::SYS$SYSTEM:*.*.*
The alarms sent by the Audit server will crash the
CONSOLE$DAEMON process with :
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, Access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=00000048,
PC=00046268, PS=0000001B
and CONSOLE$ENS_DAEMON process with :
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, Access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=00000048,
PC=0003CE78, PS=0000001B
I still have the dump files.
Regards, Dominique.

Dominique, Exactly what are you doing to cause this to happen, how are you getting your Audit server events into ENS? If you are using OSCint to do this, you will need a new OSCint kit as we made quite a few IPC changes for this PCM kit, some of which will cause the symptoms you describe. Cheers, Phil | |||||

Phil,
I just remarked now that I was using an out dated version of PCM, the
new 009 was already there, I'm copying it, and will directly install it.
IS THERE A DISTRIBUTION LIST FOR THE PCM KITS ANNOUCEMENT, IF YES,CAN
YOU ADD ME ON THE LIST.
Thanks, Dominique
