Would you have a tentative date for the next release of FT version
I presume is V1.6 in the up coming future ? Pls advise. I need this
information for the customer to do planning.
The customers had bought the V1.5 but with 'Resource wait' error and
that forcifully make them wait for the V1.6 to be released. We in
Hong Kong Digital has convinced them to use the V1.6 on development
system first. They need to have a date for planning.

I have been checking on my email and this notes to see if I had
a reply stated on 666.3, but I haven't received anything yet. Did
you have sent out already but I didn't get it or some change of
plan has been made here. Pls advise.
I did try three times periodically over the weekend and today to
see if this command does give me something.
$ dir opg::cm$ftkit:
Nothing comes back from this command except very often I got the
network partner existed message.

Yes, we announced the kit (see note 2.last).
I suggest that you keep trying to connect to OPG::CM$FTKIT: we are running
DECnet Phase V and sometimes have a few problems with the namespace.

Thanks for your information. I am sure the customer will be glad to
hear this news. Also, there is no user guide in CM$FTKIT. Is the
filename for user guide changed ? There are a couple of .ps files.
Would one of the two is the user guide ? Please advise.

CONSOLE_V16.DECW$BOOK.

While looking at the CM$FTKIT files, I might as well ask you for
it while I would try to print the installation guide out for
clarification.
Qs: If the latest consolemanager V1.6 is up ( on the Alpha machine )
with the VAX based machine in a cluster, should the VAX side
need to upgrade its existing version of consolemanager for VAX
to monitor the status of the Alpha machine within the cluster ?
Supplement: The alpha machine running consolemanager is used as
command station to monitor other systems within the
network at my client site, however, this very machine
is monitored by another VAX based station monitoring
this alpha machine.
Qs: Does this field test saveset file include software for the
VAX based system running consolemanager as well ?

This is the same as all the OpenVMS releases we have made, the kit is for
both VAX and Alpha systems.
