He's using LAT under PCM on OSF v3.0.
He's having the following problem:
When reviewing events, then selecting one of the events, the
entire Console Manager interface program terminates and dumps core.
He's seeing the following error message:
# console C3
Please wait, starting process in background ...
# Unaligned access pid=5234 <console_c3> va=3a34312035393d49
pc=1200668b8 ra=12004ca68 type=ldl
ANy ideas what might be causing this problem?
thanks

Did your customer delete ALL their log files after installing the MUP? One of the fixes in the MUP was a corruption in the log file causing the C3 to croak, the only fix for this is to delete the log files after installing the MUP, the MUP only ensures that the situation will not arise again.
