we are currently installing plenty of Polycenter Tools at a large
custumer side.
Unfortunately we don't find any PCM scan profiles for Alphas running
OSF.
any help / pointers is welcome.

| 630.2 | How to get events to console | EEMELI::OJUSSILA | Olli Jussila, OMS Finland | Tue Mar 07 1995 20:47 | 17 |
Rene,
I have found out the first problem is to get OSF/1 to report
messages to /dev/console. By default syslogd reports only
very few events to console. And if you modify /etc/syslog.conf
you can get events but after some on logs in and out to console
syslogd stop sending events. kill -HUP <syslogd> has to given
again.
Have someone hits to configure OSF/1 syslogd and auditd to
report events to /dev/console.
-Olli
