I applied the mup to a DEC 3000-M900 running 6.1. Afterwards, the DIALOG command fails to find the file if a directory is included in the file spec: $CONSOLE DIALOG/FILE=USER$:[J_BECKER]T.T;3 PSEUDO Dialog error: Unable to open dialog file If the directory is not included and the user has set default to the directory, it works: $SET DEF USER$:[J_BECKER] $CONSOLE DIALOG/FILE=T.T;3 PSEUDO $ This also fails on a vax system. It appears the DIALOG command cannot parse directory. Do you want a qar? john becker
