Hi, I copied the CM 1.5 Ultrix kit from OPG::CM$KIT:, and installed it on a 5200 running V4.4 Ultrix and V1.1.3 Motif. The installation ran OK without errors but I then ran the IVP and got the following abortive error when checking the softlinks: CM Fatal-error: soft link /usr/lib/X11/uid/en_GB/console_history.uid missing I checked and 'en_GB' directory doesn't exist, the uid files are all present in '/usr/lib/X11/uid'? Do I have the right kit as I know this was a problem initialy - RE: Note 164? regards, Stewart Piesley ~ 7847-6224 @HHL

Stewart, You have the correct kit, it looks as though the IVP is wrong! It should be checking the directory '/usr/lib/X11/en_GB/uid/' for the necessary en_GB uid files. Can you check that this directory exists and does indeed contain a set of uid files? We will provide a new IVP when we get around to creating our first patch kit. Cheers, Phil | |||||
