I installed Console Manager on a DEC4000 OSF V1.3.
The installation went successfully , but when I tried to run the IVP,
I got the following message:
unidad.vbo.dec.com# setld -v DCROSFBASE110
Console Mgr Base (DCROSFBASE110)
usr/.smdb./DCROSFBASE110.scp: /bin/echo^J^J Not yet updated to
version 1.1 Exiting..
..^J^J : not found
setld: ivp failed.

Another remark about installation:
When installing, the release note subset should display a message like:
"release note is located in /blah/blah_blah"
Else you have to look in the .inv file to know where it is,
unless you do not want people to read the release notes :-)
(just joking).

thanks for the input. I have not written the IVP yet, must get round to
this in the next couple of days ;-).
I shall update the scp to output a location.

The IVP on VMS failed for us.
Its looking for a file CONSOLE$PRIVATE_LOGICALS.TEMPLATE but we seem to
have only CONSOLE$PRIVATE_SETUP.TEMPLATE.

Oops,
we changed a file name and did not change the IVP.
The fix is now in the SSB submission kit.
