Hey guys,

One of our users out here is unable to do a bci to buffer. He's
been trying since last night but the connection keeps timing out.
Is buffer up and talking to the west coast OK?

buffer's up, but the connection dosn't appear to be. I timeout trying to ping 
slugbt or rust and traceroute can't find a route.


Admin - any idea what's going on? I can get to unx OK.

traceroute to rust.zso.dec.com (16.64.0.1), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
 1  r1-blue-yellow (16.140.96.1)  17 ms  2 ms  1 ms
 2  * * *
 3  * * *
 4  * * *

Seems to be the case from orange and blue-yellow at a minimum.
