Subj: Help: Cannot submit code merges for Platinum
I am participating the Platinum merge, currently running
from July 18 through July 21st. In specific, I am performing
a merge on behalf of Lee Miller who is not here at present.
I followed the Platinum Merge instructions (as written
by John Flanagan on Mon, 17 Jul 1995 15:23:49 as follows:
% mksb -back ptos ptos_merge
% workon -sb ptos_merge
% mklinks ./
% cd usr/ccs/bin/as
% bdiff -rPTLITEOS_BL4 -rPTLITEOS_BL6 reorganize.c > 4v6
% bdiff -rPTLITEOS_BL4 -rPTOS reorganize.c > 4vPT
% bdiff -rPTLITEOS_BL6 -rPTOS reorganize.c
% bco -km -jPTLITEOS_BL4:PTLITEOS_BL6 reorganize.c
% emacs reorganize.c
% bci -m"merge of Platinum Lite BL6 changes" reorganize.c
% srequest
When I attempted to do the submit (instructions said "no approval
required"), the following occurred:
% bsubmit -defect ptos-merge-ptlitebl6 -auto_out reorganize.c
>> FATAL ERROR in /usr/sde/tools/alpha_OSF1/bin/ode/bsubmit:
>> You are prevented from submitting to: /usr/sde/osf1/build/ptos.
>> No entry in submit or sadmin access lists.
Please instruct me as to how to proceed in order to get this
merge work accomplished.
