This looks like perhaps mongoose.unx, the ode server for plcde,
is mounting the plcde disk read-only, or that the kxctd server
doesn't have permission to write into these trees. The owner
of the submit trees should be devbld.
Looking on mongoose, the filesystem appears to be read/write, but
the ownership is unfamiliar to me:
mongoose$ pwd
/cde_sb/pss/sandboxes/asterix/tmp
mongoose$ ls -ld
drwxrwxr-x 2 7665 system 8192 Jun 26 16:22 .
mongoose$ grep 665 /etc/passwd
mongoose$ ypcat passwd | grep 665
ypcat: the domainname hasn't been set on this machine.

I'm trying to make a submit to the plcde pool
but can't get through. I keep getting this 'strange' message.
Help...
