The documentation covering the <ENDTITLE_PAGE> tag does not make it clear that any following (text) will NOT appear at the bottom of the title page in all document types. It can be overridden by a local design. I wasted time trying to change the <ENDTITLE_PAGE> text for a one-off manual that needed a something different to the "digital..." (It was being done for a different location) The documentation suggests that the text following the <ENDTITLE_PAGE> tag will do it. It won't. Could this be emphasised in the documentation under the tag description? Indeed, it would be better if the <ENDTITLE_PAGE>(Text) was specified in the input it overrides any local definition of the text. Is it possible to do this? Also, how can I change the Contents page to be other than "iii" in a document without a copyright page? John

You are correct, that text on the <endtitle_page> tag only
works for REPORT, REPORT.TWO_COL and MILSPEC. We will either
fix the documentation or fix the DESIGN files.
If you have a local design file, you can set the page number for
the table of contents using
\def\tocpageno{-2}
to set it to roman numeral 2, ii.
That is the only way to do it at present.
