Is there a way to remove device support? For example I had LP support
installed with BL8 -- now with DOC V1.0 I don't want it any more
-- is there a nice clean way to get rid of the old files so they're
not left around with my new V1 installation?

Line printer support doesn't cost very much, and it is needed
to do MAIL and TERMINAL destinations. Those come standard with
DOCUMENT, so you are stuck with the small cost.
When you select line printer support during installation,
it really just adds some stuff to the DOC$DESTINATIONS.DAT
file that correlates the "destination" and "queue name"
for your line printer(s).
If you install V1 on top of BL8, you will get a brand new
DOC$DESTINATIONS.DAT file, and the old one will be purged,
so there is no "de-installation" that can be done or that
needs to be done. You won't have anything "left over"
from BL8.
