The <REVISION> description in the DOCUMENT User Manual states:
The <REVISION> tag can be used in any document type for which
you want to indicate to reviewers new or changed information.
Unfortunate, attempting to use this tag in a REPORT.TWOCOL document
yields the following:

Sorry, but I do have to tell you that revision bars are not supported
in any multi-column styles. The restrictions on REPORT.TWOCOL are
the same as for ARTICLE; the final version of the documentation
cross references these.
