352.0. "<line> tag and <headx> tags" by AUTHOR::R_MCGOWAN () Thu May 07 1987 08:20
A month or so ago I had used the <line> tag this way:
  <head2>(RT-11 FORTRAN IV Installation Guide/Release Notes
  <LINE>PDP-11 FORTRAN-77/RT-11 Installation Guide/Release Notes)
  <p>
  The FORTRAN IV and FORTRAN-77 installation guides and ....
That produced a double header line for a documentation guide. I wanted
a double header line (without extra spacing between each header) since
I was giving one explanation for two books.
Yesterday, when I went to check the file (which used to process perfectly),
the file would no longer process. Instead, I got the error message:
  %TAG-F-TAG_INARG, at tag <LINE> on line 672 in file

  <LINE> is invalid in an argument to <HEAD2>.
Is there any way I can get a double header line, that is, with the second
line starting with the word I want?

    Not easily. The restriction/message was place on the use of <line>
    in header levels because it resulted in TeX errors in the table
    of contents. Will put on the wishlist to look at.
