       A request:  Could you make the SOFTWARE.REFERENCE doctype
                   tags also work for the MANUAL.REFERENCE doctype?

       A reason:   My group would like to use the MANUAL.REFERENCE
                   doctype but the <MSG> tags do not work for that
                   doc type.  I have a 165-page message manual and I
                   don't see why I shouldn't be able to use the message
                   tags for that manual in the MANUAL.REFERENCE doc
                   type.  However, I'd greatly appreciate not having
                   to create a new doc type just to print my manual.
