300.0. "<REFERENCE> in <CODE_EXAMPLE>?" by AUTHOR::WELLCOME (Steve) Fri Apr 24 1987 10:27
    Is it valid to use <REFERENCE> inside a <CODE_EXAMPLE>? When I
    tried it, the tag translator didn't complain but TeX did, giving
    me one of its typically obscure error messages. The file looked
    something like this:

    <CODE_EXAMPLE>
	.RAD50	/FILNAMTYP/	;The .RAD50 directive is described
    				;in <REFERENCE>(MSDR50_SEC).
    <ENDCODE_EXAMPLE>

I was using the MANUAL.REFERENCE doctype, if that makes any difference.
