1210.0. "NOVA::DB$... playing peek-a-boo with me!" by EPAVAX::EPAPC1::CARLOTTI (Rick Carlotti, DTN 440-7229) Thu Dec 03 1992 14:49
What gives?
I do a directory of NOVA::DB$FACTSHEET:*.*;0 and see the files I need to
copy. Then I issue a SPOOL COPY command and the job errors our with:
%FTSV-E-OPENIN, error opening NOVA::DB$FACTSHEET:ORA*.*;0 as input
-RMS-F-DEV, error in device name or inappropriate device type for
operation
When I then do another DIR command, I can't see the files anymore. It's
like you get one peek at them and then you can't see them anymore! Is
this some new Sales prevention feature of VMS?
I need this info ASAP, so if anyone our there can help, I'd appreciate it!

| 1210.1 | Give WILBRY:: a try... | NOVA::DAVISON | Jay Davison, Database Systems | Thu Dec 03 1992 15:35 | 2 |
| | Try using WILBRY instead of NOVA. Lots of this stuff moved off
    of NOVA a while ago.
