      The company's name is PIONEER. Their 4GL is Gembase. Their MRP
    package for process manufacturers is PRONIX and I can't remember what
    the name of there financials are. Dan Sweeny is Pioneer's business
    manager. He could give you more information regarding Pioneer. He can
    be reached at CIMNET::SWEENY.

| | Try MIRACLE from Headland Systems in Burlington, MA. Miracle is already
    a successful product in the UK.

    Pioneer's financials product in the UK is called PROMIX. It is written
    using their 4GL (GEMBASE). Don't know about support in the States, but
    over here I am starting to have a few questions. Two of my customers
    have it. One has had PROMIX and GEMBASE for a while, and is becoming
    less and less impressed. The other has been trialling it, with a lot of
    support from Pioneer.

    Another of my customers has MIRACLE. Again, not particularly impressed
    at the moment. Very good functionally, but support a bit weak. Both
    products are very new, and probably need to mature a bit.

    Has anybody looked at CODA, I believe it is Rdb based.

| 696.5 | CODA is currently RMS based | TELGAR::WAKEMANLA | Another Eye Crossing Question! | Mon Aug 06 1990 20:39 | 6 |
| | CODA is currently RMS based but they have stated
that they would like to migrate to Rdb. Their strengths
are their distributibility and Internationalization. They
support mutliple currencies within single transactions.

    Collier-Jackson of Tampa, FL are currently working on porting to the
    Rdb platform, for their World Class Series packages. Their Rdb
    solution looks promising, they're not just forcing Rdb to look like
    RMS.
