Does anyone has any experience with the SQR product ?
I'm especially needs some details about the following subjects :
1. How it works on ACMS environment ?
2. Is it possible to CALL SQR modules from COBOL ?
3. Is it possible to CALL COBOL modules from SQR ?
4. Is it possible to share d.b. handle between pre-compiled modules
and SQR modules ?
5. Is it easy to use it ?
6. Does it has good performance (I think it uses the Dynamic SQL ?
7. Do you think it's easy to generate Reports with SQR ?
Any details about the SQR product is welcome.
I'm consider using this product on a very large ACMS application to generate
many reports instead of the COBOL Report writer.
(I can't afford using DTR because of the performance demands).
many thanks in advance
Arie.
p.s. : I post this note in RDB_31 and the rdb competition notes files.

I am working with the Digital folks in Indianapolis. They have a
university there that wants to prototype ACMS/SQR/Oracle. We're just
starting the research but it looks promising. Will keep you posted.
