Hi,
I wonder if anyone could tell me if Lotus 123 which runs on PC can
access data of Rdb in VAX? If so, how is it being done ?

The short answer is no! LOTUS annouced support only for RDB/VMS
access from 1-2-3/VMS and not from the PC.
The long answer is that SQL Services for VMS are being used. In
addition, V3 of 1-2-3 contains an extension called DATALENS which
can be used to access external data bases. Which means it may be
possible to develop the link. I think Mary Murphy @ TTB was looking
into it.
You should also look in the FDCV07::LOTUS and NOVA::SQL_SERVICES
notes conferences.
