Could someone contrast the difference between the way Oracle and
RDB operates in a Cluster? We need to contrast the two for a very
important customer. They are receptive to looking at Rdb, as they
are having severe performance difficulties with ORACLE - cluster
performance is so bad that they are only using one node of the cluster
and the other remains idle. (ORACLE recommended to them that they
should just use a "networked" approach, and not use the cluster
capabilities at all)

Lynne,
There are numerous notes in this conference that discuss these
features. The note before this (324.1) gives some detailed
up-to-the-minute info on Oracle in clusters.
