      By 'corvision' I assume were talking about application factory. 
    
    A customer of mine spent some time last summer evaluating AF with
    RDB and eventually through the product out because he was having
    so many problems.
     
    To name a few - AF does not support the wait option on the start
    transaction statement also the reserving options were not supported
    unless you dropped down to the 'rev ?' level. This is  a set of
    low level AF routines that are unsupported by the vendor.
    
    In essence though the rdb interface was immature and a little flakey
    - not of industrial grade as they say.
