A Development Workshop will be held by Service Engineering Valbonne, 12-16
December. The scope of the workshop is to develop material to help software
specialists support customers in planning and running database projects.
Some examples of such material are:
- Guidelines (ex: how to proceed when implementing a
logical design)
- Checklists (ex: glossary of misleading terms to watch
for when assessing Business Requirements)
- Templates (ex: requirements specification)
- Visuals (ex: illustration of a B-tree)

SKILLS EXPECTED FROM THE PARTICIPANTS:
from all:
- Knowledge of relational database design
- Experience of Rdb/VMS V3.0, CDDplus
- Experience in either database Project
development or database development consulting
from several of them:
- Experience of RALLY
- Experience of other VIA Products (TDMS,ACMS,DATATRIEVE)
- Experience of Structured Consulting
